Tis’ The Season to Fall Sick
I’m sorry that we couldn’t get on with the series today. I’m having such a bad cough that everytime I try to think of something witty, it all falls apart.
Looking back over the years, it’s kinda strange as to why I’ve actually fallen so badly ill this year. Before this cough, I had the sore throat, coughs and flu. Once, I became so sick with fever that I could not continue with my lab work. After that fever, I had the conjunctivitis. My left eye became so red, dry and itchy and I had to keep rubbing it, further exacerbating the problem.
Now I don’t know why this supplement that I’m taking does not help alleviate this problem. It’s done wonders in the past, however. Perhaps my cough bacteria have become somehow resistant to my medicine.
It’s said that the whole of Student Village has fallen sick with various diseases. Even one of my supervisors has gotten the coughs and runny nose. She became so weak until her voice became rather disjointed. Not a great time to discuss anything with her.
I wish the Sick Season would go away faster, so that I can start talking again about our fuel price increase!
